Cadus is made with selected batches of grapes from the best wine regions of Mendoza to express the character of each varietal in a particular terroir.
1.150 msnm, Alto Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza
Parcel 44, alluvial soil with a deep layer of abundant pebbles. Good runoff with scattered limestone and scarce organic material, Our Single Vineyard Las Torcazas Estate Malbec is made here.
1.200 msnm, Los Chacayes, Tunuyán, Uco Valley, Mendoza
Parcels 8 and 12, with shallow alluvial soil, scarce organic material and sedimentary rocks (including limestone). Our Single Vineyard Viña Vida Vineyard Malbec is made here.

Mayorga graduated cum laude in agricultural engineering at Universidad Nacional de Cuyo before completing a master’s in vineyard quality management.
After a decade making high-end wines with Mendel Wines, he joined Cadus in 2013.
